The JSON Pulsimo sends to webhook channels, and how to handle it.
A webhook channel sends every alert it receives to a URL of yours as JSON. Use it to
connect PagerDuty, Opsgenie, a chat platform Pulsimo doesn't support natively, or your own
automation.
Enter the URL, the method (POST, PUT or PATCH) and any headers your receiver needs,
for example Authorization: Bearer …. Header values are stored as secrets and never
shown in full again.
Choose which severities, projects and kinds of alerts it takes, like any other channel.
Leave Send a test after saving on. The test goes through the same path as real
alerts and shows your server's answer.
Deduplicate on alarm.id. One alarm can send a first message, reminders, an
escalation, an acknowledged note and a resolved message.
Close on alarm.state: "resolved". That message goes only to channels that heard
about the alarm.
Answer quickly with a 2xx. Pulsimo waits up to 15 seconds for an answer; the
delivery log shows your status code and body when it fails.
Check the delivery log.Alerting → Delivery log shows every attempt with the full
message and the platform's answer. Filter by the channel to debug one webhook.
